Objects of Movement is a confluence of dance and design. Besides interior design and design, modern dance is one of my greatest passions, I always saw these two interests as separate parts of my life until I came up with the idea of merging them in this project.

Can I transfer the mood, style and feel of dance to design?Turn something that is a snapshot into something permanent, make something immaterial material.

For this project, I transformed the movements of dance into shapes.I performed the dance and captured it through sketches. I then developed these line shapes into 3D figures in space without losing the sense of movement. This resulted in a wall-mounted coat rack.

I made this project thrice, each inspired by a different way of dancing: my own style of modern dance, Graham and partner work.
