My bachelor’s project consists of a free project and a collaboration with Het Huis van Frie in Antwerp. For my free project, I designed a sculptural wine rack inspired by cork, French natural stone, and geometry. The result is a functional object that combines tranquility and abstraction. For the collaboration, I immersed myself in paper making and developed a lamp made from paper pulp. This lamp plays with light, shadow, and texture. Through material experiments, scale models, and conversations with Frieda, my design grew into a powerful light object. Both projects demonstrate my focus on sustainability, craftsmanship, and aesthetics.
