Connecting landscape

interior design

This project transforms the garden of the KASK Café into a dynamic, undulating landscape. It is not a static object, but an invitation to engage with one another and the landscape. Constructed from EPDM rubber granules, it challenges visitors to touch, climb and experience the architecture. The material brings out the tactility and the uninhibited playfulness of the child within us. The landscape adapts to people’s varying needs. Vertical elements—which can be used in various ways—are scattered sporadically across the landscape. As evening falls, they light up. A place to enjoy a coffee from the café, a bustling grandstand for a fashion show or a stage: this landscape is a living entity connecting students, visitors and the academy.
