Across the entire Bijloke campus, you’ll discover the graduation work of students in visual arts and design. 

With works by students in photography, graphic design, autonomous design, fine arts, textile design, fashion, musical instrument making, interior design, landscape and garden architecture, landscape development, digital design and development, curatorial studies, educational master in audiovisual and visual arts and the educational master in music and performing arts.

BOOKSHOP

Six graphic design students (Eline Cremers, Mira Keygnaert, Inès De Laender, Liv Meysman, Maïté van Genugten, and Maud Declerck) warmly welcome you to their Bookshop during the Graduation Weekend. Here, you’ll find a diverse selection of publications, zines, posters, drawings, T-shirts, theses, and other unique editions. Furthermore, masterstudent Maud Declerck will make live radio with Radio.(punt).

Raising Voice: Whispers, Stutters and Echoes, Coincidental FLINTA* Choir

An unconventional choral performance by a group of FLINTA* people who collectively explore their relationship with their voices. Together, they embrace vulnerability through whispers, stuttering, and echoes, while simultaneously revealing the power of a collective voice in resisting patriarchal norms. This performance emerged from Anne Rosa Lut’s master’s project Exploring a Feminist Voice.

The Story Behind the Curtain, Mona A.Shahi

The Story Behind the Curtain is an interactive installation inspired by Pardeh-khani, a traditional Iranian storytelling practice.

Using four magic lanterns representing the main characters of the story of Siavash, participants can alter the visibility of each character by changing their position in space. In this system, visibility functions as power: the larger a character appears on the screen, the greater their influence within the narrative.

Each new arrangement activates a different version of the story, inviting audiences to reflect on how narratives are shaped by repetition, perspective, and the distribution of power.

Friday the 26^th = Karaoke at the DOME on the lawn sandwiched between KASKcafe and the cinema! Featuring a portable karaoke machine, food and drinks, my mom, and even the opportunity to sing along with previously recorded karaokes in a meta way.

Tussen ons Het Koord, Gaia op de Weegh

As a Dutch woman married to an Ecuadorian man, Gaia lives in a constant negotiation with borders. In Tussen ons het koord (Between Us, the Tightrope), she explores how political, bureaucratic, and cultural systems affect the intimate: love, family, and the body. Through her international and multicultural relationship, she re-examines her own background, privileges, and assumptions.

Through movement, tightrope balancing, and text, Gaia reveals a vulnerable exercise in finding balance.

Tussen ons het koord is an intimate, multidisciplinary performance about family, love, and migration.
