Set on a site steeped in history stands the Predikheren, a multi-layered building that has taken on different forms over the years. Drawing on this historical richness, I was inspired by the unifying power of craftsmanship. Craftsmanship fosters connection, encourages collaboration and allows knowledge to live on naturally.

By subtly extending the street along the building’s axes, an open and accessible structure is created in which encounters can arise naturally. This openness flows through the entire building, forming a covered square with space for a variety of activities and spontaneous interaction.

The design reflects a sense of community and social connection, interwoven with a theatre of discovery and wonder. From this concept emerges a place that gently strengthens the relationship between people, craftsmanship and the environment.
