My internalised gaze is an exploration of the relationship I have with my own body. Conversations with my mother and sister served as the starting point, providing a space to discuss how the female body is experienced and how that experience is shaped by internalised gazes and societal expectations. From those dialogues grew the need to engage in further conversations with my father and brothers, in order to arrive at a broader reflection on my own body perception.
