Instrumentenbouw: namiddagconcert

De afstudeerrichting Instrumentenbouw bestaat 25 jaar en organiseert een namiddagconcert.

Twee muzikanten leiden ons chronologisch door een stuk muziekgeschiedenis aan de hand van acht historische instrumenten. Van een octaaf-virginaal waarop eind zestiende eeuw dansmuziek voor de adel werd gespeeld tot de voorloper van de moderne klassieke gitaar uit 1888. Ze worden één voor één ingeleid en bespeeld.

De instrumenten zijn historische reconstructies en replica’s van de hand van huidige bachelor- en masterstudenten instrumentenbouw.

Our Musical Instrument Making programme is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is organising an afternoon concert.

Two musicians will lead us chronologically through a piece of music history on the basis of eight historical instruments. From an octave virginal on which dance music was played for the nobility at the end of the sixteenth century to the forerunner of the modern classical guitar from 1888. They are introduced and played one by one.

The instruments are historical reconstructions and replicas made by current Bachelor and Master students of Musical Instrument Making.
