This project is an attempt to harness the possibilities of the book and its many potentials to explain and unpack the characteristics of quantum physics: superposition, entanglement, decoherence, and the relativity of space and time. Based on this research, the book appears to be a quantum object. It transcends temporalities, enables time travel, and distributes different spaces. A book is an object in a constant state of superposition; within it, experiences, sensations, emotions, feelings, and knowledge form a palimpsest. Subjective projections animate the publication and make its content vibrant and rich. Time flows through it as on a clock. Every page turned, every side of a poster, every fold of a leporello possesses its own temporality. The fold, the central element of the book, distributes the content on either side of the object. Sometimes mysteries or information are hidden there. The fold contains the singularity of the edition, a place where space-time no longer acts in the same way. A place where conceptions of the book’s universe collapse. The fold is a black hole.
The book is a quantum object.
