My research focuses on the influence of animation aesthetics on historical consciousness, with a particular focus on the portrayal of witchcraft and the case of Jeanne Panne. I am studying how popular animation produces stereotypes and how this visual legacy distorts the interpretation of historical figures. From a heritage education perspective, I have developed strategies to counter these misconceptions through visual literacy, image comparison and alternative narratives. As part of my master project, I created an educational booklet that gives young people insight into witch iconography, historical nuance and character design.
