One Score, Five Classes is a workshop in which students from various ‘Word Art-Drama’ classes at the Bruges Academy of Fine Arts are introduced to performance art. During the workshop, they are guided in developing a score (a kind of musical score or manual). In this, they explore how they can interact with materials on stage.
A key principle is that the workshop takes into account the needs of neurodivergent people and common requirements, such as accessibility and space for different learning and working styles. In this way, performance art is made accessible to all participants in an inclusive manner.
