Dear reader of this Webpage,

A brief note on LL;Lennert Lefever presents himself primarily as a writer. His debut novel Over de Put, an autobiographical account of his encounter with ‘De Put te Zuid-Anderlecht’ and later visits with fellow artists, family, locals,… to this natural phenomenon, is both true and sensa-spiritual.

While awaiting publication (he writes, reads and creates all at once), physical elaborations emerged-works that represent, retell and fictionalize fragments of the book.

The first passage, Bewustzijnsvorming binnen een nieuwe generatie, was adapted into a film and is on view in the exhibition. Chapter two; Spirituele leegtes, was partly published and became a performative act during the juries. The final and most important chapter is currently being diligently written; Emptiness = Form (TikTok richting Zen-hooggebergte).

On the back cover, a test reader remarked: “Trying to grasp the world, that might be it.”Not a love letter, nor a warning—a generational portrait?
