As a student of painting, my initial dream was to become a secondary school teacher. My work is more of a translation and extension of myself, a way of telling and showing something about who I am. I am an artist who wants to share her knowledge and experience with young people and offer guidance to those who need it.

I am a creator, a ‘bricoleur’ as I like to call myself, who starts from the material. A visual artist, not just a painter, but also a performer in the making who immerses herself in the materials and continues with elements that make me who I am. As the butcher’s shop has mainly been in recent years.

The butcher’s shop is a place where I encounter myself and get to know myself better. Who am I? Why does it fascinate me so much? Which elements appeal to me? How long will this remain a part of me?

…My work is therefore really a way of exploring and identifying myself.
