Afstudeerconcert zang

Kaylee Galle

Ooit koos ik ervoor om mijn dromen te volgen; ik besloot van mijn grootste passie dan ook mijn beroep te maken. Mijn afstudeerproject ‘Träume’ staat dan ook in het teken van mijn persoonlijke dromen, verlangens, doelen … Na een jarenlange en hardwerkende zoektocht heb ik mezelf ontdekt, en weet ik wat ik wil bereiken op mijn muzikale pad.

Het programma dat zal gezongen worden weerspiegelt dan ook mijn persoonlijkheid, interesses en mijn beeld op de toekomst. Van enkele zeemzoete wiegenliedjes van Johannes Brahms tot een dramatische aria van Francesco Cilea.

Een reis door de tijd, door licht en donker, door stilte, gefluister en vreemde stemmen, geluiden uit het verleden en toekomstige echo’s van verloren gegane schaduwen.

Een reis van het verre en oude Italië naar de frisse, poëtische, franse zoetheid van delicate oude en nieuwe klanken. Het gaat verder te midden van de engelse weiden van de 1920 om te eindigen in de harde verloren liefde, herwonnen door de dood. De muziek wordt uiteindelijk bedekt door de schoonheid van kinderlijke onschuldige herinneringen.  Buiten de tijd en ruimte.

Once upon a time I made the decision to follow my dreams; I chose to make my greatest passion my career. My graduation project “Träume” is therefore about my personal dreams, longings, goals … After a long and hard-working search, I found myself, and I know what I want to achieve on my musical path.

The program that will be sung, therefore reflects my personality, interests and my vision about the future. This goes from a few very sweet lullaby’s of Johannes Brahms to a dramatic aria of Francesco Cilea

A journey through time, through light and dark, through silence, whispers and strange voices, past sounds and future echoes of lost shadows.

Voyage from far and old Italy to the fresh, poetic, french sweetness of delicate old and new sounds. It continues amidst the english meadows of the 1920 to end in the harsh lost love, recovered by death. The music is ultimately covered by the beauty of childlike innocent memories. Out of time and space.
