Dingen gaan niet altijd volgens plan, zeker dit jaar. Veel projecten moesten uitgesteld of afgelast worden en konden niet meer doorgaan zoals gepland. Er kon niets aan gedaan worden, en het voelt alsof die projecten gestorven zijn vooraleer ze gerealiseerd konden worden. Maar het leven vindt altijd nieuwe wegen, en sommige projecten vinden in dit recitalprogramma een tweede leven. ‘Collage’, de titel van dit recital, is een mix van werken uit projecten die dit jaar niet langer konden doorgaan en hier een nieuwe betekenis krijgen.

Vijf jaar zwoegen op partituren hebben onze studenten erop zitten. Het examenrecital vormt de kroon op al dat harde werk en jij kan erbij zijn! Alle examenconcerten van masterstudenten klassieke muziek en compositie staan open voor publiek. Ook de postgraduaten Soloist Classical Music en Musical Performance Practice en de master na master Hedendaagse Muziek verwennen je oren.

Opgelet: wegens COVID-19 zijn de plaatsen beperkt; reserveren is dus aangeraden, en het dragen van een mondmasker is verplicht.

Tickets worden per dag verkocht; het kan dus zijn dat het uur op de ticketwebsite niet overeenstemt met het uur van het specifieke concert waar u naartoe wilt. Uw ticket is geldig voor alle concerten die dag.

Things don’t always go as planned, especially this year. Many projects had to be postponed or cancelled and they couldn’t take place. Not much could be done about it, and it feels like these projects died before they could see the light. But life always finds new ways, and some of these projects have found a new life together in this updated recital program. ‘Collage’, the title of this master recital, is the result of mixing selected pieces from previous projects that couldn’t take place this year, having lost their original concept, but now they take a renewed meaning in this context.

Five years of hard work have passed. The exam recital is the result of all that work and you can be there.

All the graduation concerts of the master’s students Classial Music and Composition are open and free to the public, as well as the postgraduates of Soloist Classical Music, Musical performance practice, and the master after master Contemporary Music will be a joy to listen to.

Attention: due to COVID-19, there’s only a limited number of available seats so making a reservation is advised. Wearing a face mask is obligated.

Tickets are sold per day; it is therefore very well possible that the time on the ticket website differs from the time of the specific concert you want to go to. Your ticket is valid for all the concerts that day.
