Afstudeerconcert slagwerk

Dit recitalprogramma bestaat uit hedendaagse componisten zoals Mark Applebaum of Philip Glass, die beiden erkende figuren zijn binnen de hedendaagse muziekscène. Daarnaast komen ook Ruben De Gheselle en Kelley Sheehan aan bod, allebei jonge componisten wiens werken wereldwijde erkenning beginnen te krijgen.

De rode draad doorheen dit recital is de schoonheid van eenvoud, aangezien alle werken – ondanks de aanwezigheid van elektronica in de meeste van deze werken – ontstonden uit een ruw concept of heel klein idee.

Opgelet: wegens COVID-19 zijn de plaatsen beperkt; reserveren is dus verplicht, en het dragen van een mondmasker ook.

Tickets worden per dag verkocht; het kan dus zijn dat het uur op de ticketwebsite niet overeenstemt met het uur van het specifieke concert waar u naartoe wilt. Uw ticket is geldig voor alle concerten die dag.

In the program of this concert you can find pieces by current composers, such as Mark Applebaum or Philip Glass, who are recognized figures within the contemporary music scene, as well as Ruben De Gheselle or Kelley Sheehan, both young composers whose works are beginning to be performed with considerable projection worldwide.

The conceptual thread of this recital could be the beauty of simplicity, since, in spite of the electronics present in most of the pieces, all of them are born from a very raw concept, or from a very small idea.

Due to COVID-19, there’s only a limited number of available seats so making a reservation is necessary. Wearing a face mask is also obligated.

Tickets are sold per day; it is therefore very well possible that the time on the ticket website differs from the time of the specific concert you want to go to. Your ticket is valid for all the concerts that day.
