‘Mondal’ is a sartorial tribute to my family and their dedication to preserving our past – a dedication that has empowered me to shape it’s future. The collection draws from a perfectly preserved family archive, dating back to 1850, filled with treasured objects – photographs, paintings, notes and garments – each piece is a chapter, reflecting both the collective spirit and the unique nuances of it’s members. ‘Mondal’ is not about nostalgia; it’s about continuity, while we wear the future, we are forever shaped by the past.

The collection is a playful take on my own family, drawn from the archive that they have kept and honored for so long.
