When technique begins to breathe, space is created. Space to play, to explore, to dare. This research demonstrates how the four-mallet technique, often seen as a matter of precision, can evolve into a creative laboratory where pupils experiment, improvise and discover their own musical voice.

With modular patterns, minimal music and open scores, technique becomes not an end in itself, but a starting point for the imagination. Pupils build, combine and transform; they grow in control and in courage, in sound awareness and in musical ownership.
