P.A.C.: Partytent Art Center is an art center without central physical location and a horizontal power structure. P.A.C. Focuses on showcasing art in public spaces and encouraging engagement among artists. P.A.C. is a decentralized art center that exists solely through the participation of third parties and has its archive on the internet.

The Center primarily engages artists to have more autonomy over the presentation of their art practice and the public space. Anyone who chooses to take a tent and show work in it’s vicinity automatically becomes the director of that Partytent Art Center.

The art center has a horizontal power structure through this project-based directorship, the partytent and the website’s open login form: where participants upload their contributions.
Curating and responsibility always lie with the activators, shaping the art center’s program by those who set up a party tent somewhere.
