(spannend he?)

Robbe Van Ael: Ketels
De Pooter Keanu: Peanu
Robin Lantsoght: Tjingle Tjangle
Adam Woodie Vandenhautte: De diepte

What started as a pastime at boarding school degenerated into a passion for electronic music and all its derivatives.

In 2016, as Walmok, he won the national final of the Kunstbende in the music category and since then things have been going fast. Performances all over Flanders, several passages as DJ at Studio Brussel and even Tomorrowland.
For the final of the Ghent Rock Rally De beloften, he was joined in 2017 by drummer Robbe Van Ael and keyboardist Keanu De Pooter, where they won 2nd place. From there Walmok LIVE was born, which again travelled all over Flanders to work the hips of many a concert-goer loose which also earned them a place in the semi-finals of the Humo’s Rock Rally.

Since 2019, however, it has been quiet around the electronic project, but that is about to change for Wannes’ graduation project! Maybe in a slightly different format than before, but certainly not any less worth the effort… (exciting, huh?)

Meanwhile, Wannes has been busy. He worked on productions of several bands and artists like Red Sebastian, Larssen, Bosum, Naüru, Langzoght, Tundra…
As a keyboard player he joined bands such as the jazz-fusion group S.OF.TS and the Dutch-singing Flintrop and Jarvin.
With the latter, he is currently working hard on a first EP.

On June 18 at the Handelsbeurs you can expect a repertoire composed of the masterpieces of Wannes De Vogelaere and his personalities.
Somewhere between Rage Against the Machine, The Bloodhound Gang and Niels Destadsbader, along the E19 there, around the corner from our Maria.

His lyrics will lyrically take up residence in the aesthetic of your thinking landscape while the music will wallow like a bitch on a free Sunday morning.

Come on, it will be fun!
