Living in an age where almost everything imaginable is designed, adapted and available for practical use “a few clicks away from the door”. From infrastructure and logistics systems to ergonomic wrist support. Each practical form follows from necessity, its appearance and essence are influenced by many rules and circumstances.

The appearance of forms in relation to human notions, experience can testify to the scenario of imagined, intended action, their application, in relation to other objects, materials, forms, etc.

By describing a particular system or mechanism in words, its translation turns into a kind of metaphor, reflecting expressions and laws that exist in everyday life and nature.

In this work series I am using imaginative continuity and logic as a language, mechanisms as a language where it has conserved cultural expressions.

In my work I analyse and deconstruct the mechanisms of industrial design available in everyday life, and use these aesthetics and principles to create new objects that include the reflection of cultural aspects. Objects are designed as a means of expression for dialogues with environment or socially accepted and known continuations of the imagination.

New systems of mechanisms are emerging from new situations. For some of them durability is close to the level of the idea, similar to such a molded plaster system, which is constructively convincing, but the material raises doubts about durability. The respective forms have resulted from the given task of the mechanism to keep its own weight, seemingly at the level of ideas with a solution.
