Sim Geerts, La vie en couleurs

Ik ben Sim, en mijn lievelingskleur is geel. Anderhalf jaar geleden maakte ik de  Instagrampagina ‘la vie en jaune’ die volledig in het teken stond van de kleur geel. In elke foto moest iets geel voorkomen, zodat het doel van mijn Instagrampagina meteen duidelijk werd wanneer iemand hem voor de eerste keer zag. Voor mijn eindwerk kwam ik op het idee om mijn Instagrampagina die enkel aandacht gaf aan de kleur geel, te veranderen naar ‘la vie en couleurs’. Ik koos 7 kleuren die ik meer aandacht wou geven. De gekozen kleuren zijn: rood, oranje, geel, groen, blauw, paars en roos. Elke week zou in thema staan van een andere kleur. Daarnaast ging ik ook per dag iets anders doen rond die kleur. De weekdagen kregen speciale namen: Mystery Monday, Tuesday Tunes, Which Shade Wednesday, Tidbit Thursday en Foody Friday. Ten slotte kon iedereen mij doorheen de week foto’s sturen waarbij de kleur van de week duidelijk zichtbaar was. Deze foto’s werden dan ook gepost op mijn Instagramstory en op zondag wordt er elke week enkele foto’s van de week gekozen en geplaatst op mijn Instagramfeed.

I’m Sim, and my favorite color is yellow. A year and a half ago, I created the Instagram Page ‘la vie en jaune’, which was all about the colour yellow. Each photo had to have something yellow in it, so that the purpose of my Instagram Page was immediately clear when someone saw it for the first time. For my thesis I came up with the idea to change my Instagram page, which only paid attention to the colour yellow, to ‘la vie en couleurs’. I chose 7 colours to focus on. The chosen colours are: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and rose. Each week would revolve around a different colour. In addition, I was going to do something different every day concerning that particular colour. The weekdays were given special names: Mystery Monday, Tuesday Tunes, Which Shade Wednesday, Tidbit Thursday and Foody Friday. Finally, everyone could send me pictures throughout the week with the color of the week clearly visible. These pictures were posted on my Instagramstory and on Sunday some pictures of the week would be selected and placed on my Instagramfeed.
