Digital Storytelling, Graduation 2020

postgraduaat digital storytelling

What is the story you’ve always wanted to tell in a digital experience? The multitude of answers to this question is exposed online, in this digital extension of graduation. Our students share their love for Ghent, their passion for music, their search for silence. They long to be free and travel the world. They counter fears of reaching adulthood, deflate ego’s, confuse perspectives. They maniacally maintain covid diaries as a handhold in desperate times, alone or as a shared experience with their closest friends. They amplify unheard voices. They document the lefthanded, tinnitus patients, spatial visions, their love of scent, bushmen culture or their own eye damage, gut feeling or ancestors. They collect idioms, pavement drawings and unheard voices. They fictionalize their search for normality, acceptance or frames of reference. They augment reality in instagram filters, audiowalks or radio play. They reflect on the perversity of the news.
