Nicolas Van Belle, Suura

Suura is een akoestisch trio dat opzoek gaat naar de grenzen van stilte, vrijheid en klank. Ze putten inspiratie uit verscheidene genre’s zoals jazz, folk, kamermuziek en improvisatie om zo hun eigen klankspectrum te verruimen. Deze heren laten zich niet schuwen voor het onbekende door er net naar opzoek te gaan. Voor deze gelegenheid betreden ze het podium een extra gastmuzikant.

Suura is a Ghent based trio, formed by Nicolas Van Belle. The music can best be described as dreamy, fluent, atmospherical landscapes combined with lyrical melodies with a focus on subtle details. Each landscape unfolds an underlying thought and emotion in which we want to involve the spectator.
