‘In de wereld van het onderwijs is elk kind een bloem die bloeit op zijn eigen tempo’

Als afstudeerproject kreeg ik de kans het ontwerp van de buitenruimte van een school voor buitengewoon onderwijs te maken.

‘Een blauwe draad in een groene omgeving’ is de visie van mijn project met als hoofdfocus een blauwe ‘bewegingsslinger’ die de verschillende zones en functionaliteiten van de school met elkaar verbindt. Deze blauwe draad zal de gebruikers mee nemen door de groene school en naar prachtige plekken leiden waar educatie, recreatie, groeien en sociale interactie centraal staan. Met als einddoel de biodiversiteit, gezondheid en welzijn van de school te bevorderen.

‘In the world of education, each child is a flower blooming at its own pace’

As a final project, I was given the opportunity to design the outdoor space of a special education school.

‘A blue thread in a green environment’ is the vision of my project with the main focus being a blue ‘movement pendulum’ connecting the different zones and functionalities of the school. This blue thread will take users through the green school and lead them to beautiful places that focus on education, recreation, growing and social interaction. With the end goal of promoting the biodiversity, health and well-being of the school.
