Patches is Lotte Lauwers, also pxl-music alumni, her most personal project to date next to her other band Sweats. After thoroughly taking the time with producer Aram Santy to define what Patches stands for, both musically and in terms of atmospheres, she came out with deeply personal music.

Patches is art pop, where chunks of emotional debris are hurtled out and where a subtle taste for wrapping vocal jolts and purrs is combined with just the right amount of beats and smears of electronic tempera.

Supported live on stage by amazing musicians such as producer and cowriter Aram Santy (Sweats, Distrakt), Ruben Vanhoutte (Jaguar Jaguar, Tamino) on drums, Karel Naessens (Peenoise) on keys, Helena Mayorga-Parades (Pavlove, Aarde aan Daan) on guitar and 3 perfectly matching backing vocalists Emily Vernaillen (Azra, Almighty Mighty), Sarah Green (Portland) and Eden De Wit.

Patches’ songs take you to a different headspace where the music shows a strong emphasis on the lyrics and moods created per song.
