The concept of the “dream home” is something we assume everyone has some kind of idea about. However, by conducting many interviews on this subject, I’ve come to the realization that few can really form a detailed picture of their dream home. Often people have very concrete and detailed ideas about certain elements, such as the arrangement of the seats, but no idea what the rest of the house would look like.

The idea of our dream home is intertwined with our conscious and unconscious ideas, dreams and fascinations and often contain conflicting wishes. My drawings and stop motion movies try to grasp these conflicting desires and their absurdity.
My goal is to provide insights with a humorous touch and in this way perhaps make people think about their desires for their home.
