NL //Gentsefeesten101 is een kennismaking voor wie er nooit bij was en een collectief gemis voor al de rest. De honderdeneerste editie van de legendarische Gentse Feesten ging niet door, dit project hoopt – met behulp van Augmented Reality – die leegte in te vullen.
Vijf instagram filters nemen je op sleeptouw doorheen het feestgewoel. Na een warm welkom door de Gentse Burgemeesters, plan je je route naar de verschillende pleinen langs persoonlijke anekdotes. Een droogje en een natje voor onderweg en we zijn vertrokken. Moge de wazige herinneringen in uw digitaal fotoalbum vereeuwigd zijn!
EN //Gentsefeesten101 is an introduction for those who were never there and a common loss for everybody else. The one hundred and first edition of the legendary Gentse Feesten was cancelled, this project hopes – with the help of Augmented Reality – to fill that void.
Five instagram filters tow you into the festive bustle. After a warm welcome by the Ghent Mayors, you plan your route to the different squares along personal anecdotes. A snack and a drink for the road and we’re off. May these filters bring clarity in your hazy recollection!
