In mijn artistieke praktijk werk ik met alomtegenwoordige beelden uit de mediawereld. Mijn reproducties van deze dramatische beelden vallen op in hun onvolmaaktheid – visuele imperfecties die haaks staan op hun glamoureuze aard. Deze tegenstelling laat me toe om het geconstrueerde karakter van deze beelden bloot te leggen en hun werking zichtbaar te maken.

In my artistic practice, I work with ubiquitous images from the media world. My reproductions of these dramatic images stand out in their imperfection – visual imperfections at odds with their glamorous nature. This contrast allows me to expose the constructed nature of these images and make their effects visible.
