“Stille Migratie” is een eindeloos onderzoek waar aan de hand van tegenstellingen en gesprekken postkoloniale identiteiten worden blootgelegd. Dezelfde manier van documenteren die de institutionele praktijk van adoptie hanteert wordt toegepast vanuit de positie van een grafisch ontwerper. Het verschil zit in de doelbewuste methode van verzamelen, die antwoord probeert te geven op de vragen rondom onze afkomst. Het papierspoor dat onze ouders achterlieten tussen India en België krijgt zo langzaamaan aanknopingspunten.

“Silent Migration” is an endless investigation where postcolonial identities are uncovered through contradictions and conversations. The same method of documentation used by the institutional practice of adoption is employed from the position of a graphic designer. The difference is found in the deliberate method of collecting, which seeks to answer the questions surrounding our descent. The paper trail left by our parents between India and Belgium thus slowly acquires clues.
