Jordy Philips, The Real Is Virtual

“The Real Is Virtual” is a personal venture into the digital atmosphere. The world that can be perceived through the senses exudes an aura that is believed cannot be digitized. I try to generate visual work by playing with this idea of the undigitizable, 3D-rendered footage being the medium. Questioning where our ‘real’ life ends and where the virtual one starts, I have been manipulating various ways of capturing physical forms to project them into the digital realm.
