Haimi Sturtewagen, Nordic Essence

Voor mijn bachelorproef ontwerp ik de inrichting van een zelfgekozen modezaak in een bestaand gebouw, inclusief de daarbij behorende functies en faciliteiten. Daarnaast creëer ik een privégedeelte voor de eventuele uitbaters van de winkel. Ik heb gekozen voor een winkel die zich focust op Scandinavische merken. Deze mode is verankerd in een omgeving waar het bos en de zee alomtegenwoordig zijn, waardoor duurzaamheid bijna vanzelfsprekend is. Scandinavische mode heeft een eigen uitdagende identiteit ontwikkeld. Labels weten esthetische overwegingen en traditie te combineren met sensualiteit en vernieuwing.

Het interieur van de winkel zal natuurlijke elementen en minimalistische vormen benadrukken om een serene, rustgevende sfeer te creëren die de kernwaarden van de Scandinavische levensstijl weerspiegelt. Grote ramen zorgen voor veel natuurlijk licht, wat de verbinding met de buitenwereld versterkt en een gevoel van openheid geeft. De inrichting zal minimalistisch zijn, met strakke lijnen en een neutraal kleurenpalet, wat de kleurrijke modecollecties centraal stelt.

Voor de privégedeelten ontwerp ik een comfortabele en stijlvolle ruimte, voorzien van moderne faciliteiten en een Scandinavische esthetiek. De ruimte zal functioneel zijn, maar ook een toevluchtsoord bieden, met een warm en uitnodigend interieur dat rust en inspiratie biedt na een drukke werkdag.

For my undergraduate thesis, I am designing the layout of a self-selected fashion store in an existing building, including the associated functions and facilities. In addition, I am creating a private area for any store operators. I have chosen a store that focuses on Scandinavian brands. This fashion is anchored in an environment where the forest and the sea are ubiquitous, making sustainability almost a given. Scandinavian fashion has developed its own challenging identity. Labels know how to combine aesthetic considerations and tradition with sensuality and innovation.

The interior of the store will emphasize natural elements and minimalist forms to create a serene, calming atmosphere that reflects the core values of the Scandinavian lifestyle. Large windows will provide plenty of natural light, enhancing the connection to the outside world and giving a sense of openness. The interior design will be minimalist, with clean lines and a neutral color palette, focusing on the colorful fashion collections.

For the private areas, I will design a comfortable and stylish space, equipped with modern facilities and a Scandinavian aesthetic. The space will be functional, but also offer a sanctuary, with a warm and inviting interior that offers peace and inspiration after a busy work day.
