te•rra•mo (terra: aarde; mo: mobiel)

Terramo bestaat uit verschillende balancerende meubelstukken. Ze zorgen voor interactie tussen mensen, mobiel & materiaal.

De mobiel creëert een zekere rust en harmonie door zijn voortdurende beweging. Het nodigt uit tot vertraging en verwondering, beweegt mee met de wind en balanceert zo eindeloos in de ruimte.

Elk mobiel bestaat uit verschillende materialen, waarbij ik zoveel mogelijk heb proberen werken met natuurlijke en gevonden grondstoffen. Onder andere gebruikt koffiegruis, algen en andere afvalstromen verwerkt tot bioplastic, als ook klei en gevonden stenen uit de natuur.

Terramo consists of several balancing pieces of furniture. They provide interaction between people, mobile & material.

The mobile creates a certain peace and harmony through its constant movement. It invites deceleration and wonder, moving with the wind, balancing endlessly in space.

Each mobile consists of different materials, where I tried to work with natural and found raw materials as much as possible. These include used coffee grounds, algae and other waste streams processed into bioplastic, as well as clay and found stones from nature.
