Welkom bij mijn afstudeerproject! Dit project richt zich op de empowerment van blinden en slechtzienden door middel van multidisciplinaire kunstpraktijken, met een speciale nadruk op de interactie tussen muziek en beeldende kunst. In samenwerking met School Spermalie heb ik workshops georganiseerd waarin jongeren met een visuele beperking geluiden omzetten in visuele kunst en andersom. Het doel is om hun creativiteit en zelfvertrouwen te stimuleren. Tijdens de workshops werkten de deelnemers met verschillende materialen en technieken, wat leidde tot inspirerende en unieke kunstwerken. Welcome to my graduation project! This project focuses on empowering the blind and visually impaired through multidisciplinary art practices, with a special emphasis on the interaction between music and visual art. In collaboration with School Spermalie, I organized workshops where visually impaired youths translated sounds into visual art and vice versa. The aim is to stimulate their creativity and self-confidence. During the workshops, participants worked with various materials and techniques, resulting in inspiring and unique artworks.
