My work consists of creating abstract sculptures, drawings and paintings that reconcile rigid objective geometry with a whimsical and impassioned point of view.
In these compositions I strive to express an aesthetic that is immediate and tangible while also remaining elusive and thought provoking from different perspectives.
Suggestions of monumentality, architectonic structure and rational design play off notions of improvisation, superfluous ornamentation, transient imagery and vulnerability.
