PROMIS3 is the new project of Belgian house producer LIMITS, aka Andras Vleminckx, and Brent Dielen. LIMITS has a particular deftness for combining forward-thinking house beats with pop and songcraft leanings. One year ago he started working with Brent on PROMIS3. PROMIS3 is a young pop duo with an elevated focus on creating a total multimedia experience they call their simulated paradise. LIMITS was picked up with this debut single ‘Fading Away’. This track got into the rotation of Belgium’s biggest radio stations: Studio Brussel , MNM (MNM 50 & MNM dance), Ultratop Dance & Topradio. This single also got airplay on Kiss FM (UK) and Triple J (Australia). His follow up single ‘Falling’ was premiered on BBC 1 and BBC 6.

LIMITS has released on Different recordings (PIAS), Eton Messy, Potion (Spinnin’) and has been supported by Claptone, The Magician, Netsky, Blonde, Lost Frequencies, The AstonShuffle, Klingande, Tiësto, and many more.

As a DJ, Andras played at Tomorrowland (2x), Electric Brixton in London, Motion (Bristol), ADE, ESNS & Pukkelpop. In addition to creating his own tracks, LIMITS also produced tracks & remixes for Little Mix, Stromae, Kat Deluna and Taio Cruz. Although Andras took great satisfaction from LIMITS’ success, his creative mind craved for a broader concept with a more complex vision.

As if faith had a hand in it, Andras met Brent Dielen at a party in an old converted church. Brent first started working on LIMITS’ artwork. Andras soon noticed that Brent has a much more complexand creative mind as he first expected and was attracted to his deep sense for aesthetics, fashion, art and poetry. Until then, LIMITS always worked with guest vocalists, but meeting Brent challenged him to work towards a bigger and broader project. From the moment their eyes interlocked, PROMIS3 and their simulated paradise was born.

From day one it was clear that Andras and Brent had a special creative chemistry. Writing together went so smoothly that it resulted in 2 EP’s in less than a year. LIMITS’ sound still forms the foundation for PROMIS3’s music, but unlike LIMITS they now tried to create a more diverse pallet of song types. You can’t pin down PROMIS3’s tracks to one genre or song structure. PROMIS3’s repertoire consists of up-tempo house and EDM influenced tracks, as well as ballads and more down-tempo tracks.

This exploratory vision is also extended into their visual word. They constantly search for the boundaries of a recognizable, yet confronting visual identity. Their art direction is an indispensable foundation of PROMIS3.

The fine line between pop – and electronic music is where they explore their possibilities. Their music isn’t necessarily constrained tothis genre, It is merely influenced by it. It is a fluid and adaptive proces depending on theirthoughts, interests and vibe. Where one song ends another one comes to life, forever paving a way into the unknown.
