Anders Herrebaut, A Sonic Home

A Sonic Home is een geluidsperformance over sonische relaties. Gedurende het jaar heb ik mensen geïnterviewd over hun persoonlijke relatie met geluid. Vanuit die interviews ging ik naar portretten in woorden, en vanuit die portretten ging ik terug naar geluid, deze composities zijn gemaakt om de emoties van het verhaal te vatten. Ik nodig je van harte uit om bij mij te komen zitten, en samen te luisteren naar enkele verhalen en composities. Daarna kunnen we een praatje maken, en misschien een verhaal of twee delen over de sonische wereld.

A Sonic Home is a sound performance about sonic relations. Throughout the year I interviewed people about their personal relation with sound. From those interviews I went to portraits in words, and from those portraits I went back to sound, these compositions are made to capture the emotions of the story. I warmly invite you to come sit with me, and listen to some stories and compositions together. Afterwards we can have a talk, and perhaps share a story or two about the sonic world.
