Adriel Cantamessi, The Flower Girls

Adriël Cantamessi, ook bekend als Cantavanda, presenteert met trots het afstudeerproject van zijn studie klassieke compositie aan het Conservatorium van Gent.

Er zijn drie concerten. Twee in Opera Gent, en een derde en laatste in het conservatorium zelf.

De concerten zijn op ZATERDAG 1 JUNI, 20:00 en ZONDAG 2 JUNI, 20:00 in de Lully Zaal van de Opera Gent.

Daarna wordt het nog een derde keer uitgevoerd in de MIRY Concertzaal op ZATERDAG 22 juni om 20:00 uur.

Samen met The Flower Girls Orchestra, zeven solisten en dirigente Pascale Van Os presenteert hij dan zijn derde operette/musical, “The Flower Girls”, en zijn tweede pianoconcerto, “Purple Rose”.

Beide stukken zijn erg romantisch, dramatisch en emotioneel. Ze zijn een mix van vele genres en stijlen, allemaal samengesmolten in een unieke smeltkroes vol contrasterende muzikale ideeën.

Iedereen die aanwezig is krijgt gratis een libretto/kunst/fotoboek van 40 pagina’s. Er zullen ook CD’s te koop zijn voor 10 EUR per stuk, met daarop pop/rock muziek die Cantavanda componeerde en zong in zijn “Visual Multipop” stijl.

Hoewel het concert familievriendelijk is, bevat het enkele harde geluiden (geluidseffecten) en een moment waarop alle lichten plotseling donkerrood worden, wat kinderen jonger dan 9 jaar zou kunnen afschrikken.

Adriël Cantamessi, also known as Cantavanda, is proud to present the graduation project of his classical composition studies at the Conservatory of Ghent.

There’s three concerts. Two in Opera Ghent, and a third and last in the conservatory itself.

The concerts are on SATURDAY JUNE 1st, 20:00 and SUNDAY JUNE 2st, 20:00 the Lully Hall of Opera Ghent.

After this, it will be performed a third time in the MIRY Concertzaal on SARURDAY, June the 22nd, at 20:00.

Together with The Flower Girls Orchestra, seven solists, and conductor Pascale Van Os, he will present his third operetta/musical, “The Flower Girls”, and his second piano concerto, “Purple Rose”.

Both pieces are very romantic, dramatic, and emotional. They’re a mix of many genres and styles, all fused together in a unique melting pot full of constrasting musical ideas.

Each person that enters will be given a 40-page libretto/art/photography book for free. There will also be CD’s for sale, for 10EUR each, containing pop/rock music that Cantavanda composed and sang in his “Visual Multipop” style.

While the concert is family friendly, it contains some loud noises (audio effects) and a moment where all lights suddenly go dark red, which might scare kids younger than 9 years old.
