L E O N I E is the result of bringing together all the scribbles, thoughts and dictaphone recordings of singer Leonie Geens in warm soul music. Writing her own music was a process of coming home for her, a way of unravelling herself layer by layer and getting to know herself again. And of finding herself. The lyrics are honest and vulnerable. Musings become words, words become melodies. The result is entirely L E O N I E. But what starts out as her story may also become a little bit yours along the way.
