As a bass player in various projects, Jef has often had the opportunity to showcase his talent in recent years. He is well versed in this accompanying role, but this is the first time he is releasing a whole set of his own compositions. The band with which Jef takes to the stage was formed in 2023 for his bachelor's thesis. Since then, they have been working together on their own sound, which they apply to the song material that Jef brings with him. You can expect compositions that originated from a project called By Nature, a band that is currently mainly active in the Box a Beat recording studio. Jef also draws inspiration from film music and all kinds of instrumental pieces. ‘Living room pop, but with an edge’ is the common thread running through the performance.
