Desma writes songs for late-night drives under the soft glow of the moon. Centered around singer-songwriter Emma Demoor, the project creates a dreamy sonic world where warm vocals, layered guitars, subtle country influences, and floating synths blend into intimate indie pop with a melancholic edge. Together with songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Robbe De Bock, she searches for sounds that feel both fragile and immersive, somewhere between stillness and longing.Live, Desma brings an atmospheric set carried by Emma’s voice and a band consisting of Robbe De Bock (guitar & pedal steel), Robin Lambrecht (guitar), Kasper Snellebrandt (bass), Gonzalo Temmermans (keys & backing vocals), Djuwi Permatasari and Luka De Clerck (backing vocals), and Danzel Hoever (drums). Their music balances vulnerability and cinematic ambience, drawing inspiration from artists such as Stevie Nicks, SX, and Adrianne Lenker.

Desma has performed at various venues and events, including Brussels Airport during the Week van de Belgische Muziek alongside Emmy d’Arc, and at Cinetol in the Netherlands. With new music, upcoming live shows, and Emma currently completing her master’s degree, the project continues to grow
