Tumbleboose encounters his brother at a table in an empty, unfamiliar space. As the two start talking, we get glimpses into their lives. Classes they took together, the pressure of being successors to the throne, and the void and loneliness they experienced when their mother passed away. One was always the favorite, the other the black sheep of the family; nevertheless, their bond prevailed through it all.
To Make a King combines digital 2D and 3D animation to bring a story about brotherhood, loneliness, feelings of inferiority and grief.
